Facial augmentation is performed on every age group. Dr. Kahn frequently
uses facial implants to bring better balance to the features of
younger patients. For instance, a teenage girl may want her nose
reshaped as well as her chin brought forward so that these features
are better proportioned and in balance. A more mature patient may
choose to have an implant in conjunction with a facelift. A stronger
chin or higher cheekbones will give the mature patient the more
youthful appearance they're seeking. Implants may also be selected
to fill out a face that appears "sunken" or "tired."

A Chin Implant can
give you more strength in your lower face and provide a beautiful
jaw and neck line. This is a minor procedure, but one that can do
a lot for you.
It is an outpatient procedure that is performed here in our state-of-the-art surgical facility, eliminating the costs and need for hospitalization.
Dr. Kahn uses IV sedation and a local anesthetic and the procedure usually takes about 15-20 minutes. You will experience minimal discomfort
and swelling and may return to normal activities after about a week. The result will be natural looking and make a huge difference in the balance of your face! |
